Structure

Error Correction
QR codes use Reed-Solomon error correction. Can be read even if partially damaged.
Data Capacity
Numeric: up to 7,089 characters
Alphanumeric: up to 4,296 characters
Binary: up to 2,953 bytes

Most modern smartphones have built-in QR readers. Open the camera app and point at the code.
